Next, head to Circular Quay and catch a Manly Harbour Cruise, where you can take in stunning views of Sydney Harbour, situated on the famous Manly Wharf, presents an extraordinary dining encounter amidst one of Sydney’s most breathtaking waterfront settings. Departing Kaikoura at 10am the Coastal Pacific Train is a scenic rail journey that takes passengers from Kaikoura to Blenheim, traveling along the rugged coastline of New Zealand’s South Island. Abel Tasman National Park

Relax in Auckland

Free time in the City of Sails

To get the lay of the land perhaps start your day with a visit to the Sky Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, for stunning views of the city. Head to the Auckland Art Gallery to discover New Zealand’s art and cultural heritage. Then, explore the Viaduct Harbour and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and cafes. Take a ferry to the nearby islands, such as Waiheke Island, to enjoy wine tasting and beautiful beaches.

Fly to Port Vila, Vanuatu

The vibrant capital of Vanuatu

The area occupied by Port Vila has been inhabited by Melanesian people for thousands of years.  You’ll be transferred to Paradise Cove Rsort, on the South shore of the Mele Bay, fifteen minutes from town. Hosting a maximum of thirty guests with twenty four local staff, Paradise Cove Resort provides a great tropical experience, and is nearby to many points of interest.

At the resort snorkeling gear, reef shoes, stand up paddles and kayaks and mountain bikes are available free of charge for all in-house guests. The area of the Mele bay has some excellent snorkeling.

Explore Efate

Day trips can be booked through the resorts Tour Desk

Different types of tours, excursions and activities are available on Efate or other islands of Vanuatu. They can all be booked through our tour desk. We can liaise with car rental companies or organise buses for short trips or private tours around the island.

DAY 23
Fly to Santo

Palm-lined, white-sand beaches and spring-fed swimming holes

Today will be spent travelling to Espirtu Santo – but know simply as Santo by the locals. Embark on a memorable travel day from Paradise Cove in Vanuatu to Turtle Bay Lodge, in Luganville on the captivating island of Santo. After a short domestic flight, you’ll touch down on Santo’s shores, greeted by the warm island breeze. From there, a comfortable transfer will whisk you away to Turtle Bay Lodge. Turtle Bay Lodge is ideally situated half way up the East coast of Santo. Even though we are only a 20 minute drive from Luganville, it is near to the fantastic East coast blue holes and half way to the stunning Northern beaches.

Indulge in ultimate relaxation within the resort’s tranquil grounds, taking a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool or partaking in thrilling watersports. Dive into the vibrant coral reef for a mesmerizing snorkeling experience, or bask in the serenity of the bay’s calm waters. Visit the blue holes

Located in the Matevulu Conservation Area, which is a protected area of rainforest and mangroves.

The lodge can arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off at the blue holes, or you can walk there yourself.

  • The Nanda Blue Hole is about 6km north of Turtle Bay Lodge. It is a natural swimming hole located in a crater of an extinct volcano. The water in the blue hole is a beautiful turquoise color and is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
  • The Matevulu Blue Hole is located just a short walk from Turtle Bay Lodge. It is a smaller blue hole than the Nanda Blue Hole, but it is still a popular spot for swimming and snorkeling. The Matevulu Blue Hole is also known for its rope swing, which is a popular photo opportunity.

DAY 26
Day to Relax

Quad biking, Millennium Cave Hike there is plenty more to see

Perhaps hire the quad bikes at the resort and explore the nearby terrain. Or  Trek over a bamboo bridge to visit the bats and swallows of Millennium Cave, who nap among spectacular rock formations.

DAY 27
Return to Port Vila

Allowing a day to sightsee before your onward flight

You will fly back to Port Vila and return to  Paradise Cove for your last night in tranquility. Perhaps take the mountain bikes out for one last ride around the local villages, or take a sunset kayak out over the reef or simply relax in the tropical garden by the ocean.

Paradise Cove Resort Vanuatu - kayaks are available free of charge for all in-house guests. We also have life jackets for adults and children alike.

Homeward Bound

Four week tour to Oceania is sadly over

You can’t accept, we can’t believe it – but this wondrous adventure has drawn to a close. There is nothing more to do today than pack and be ready for your departure flight from Port Vila.
